General information
Acquiring cutting edge skills and knowledge in direct contact with active research is paramount for the completion of a graduate education in Geosciences. This teaching unit is organized as a collection of optional small workshops on frontier topics in Geosciences, delivered by CEREGE researchers and faculty. It provides students with a unique opportunity to be in direct contact with active research in a major scientific center in Geosciences.
Each topic will be taught by specialist of the field who will introduce the state of the art and most recent advances in the relevant tools and techniques. Students of the International Master in Geosciences will choose 9 topics out of 12, enabling them to build their own personal career path according to their areas of interest. CEREGE PhD students are also welcome to attend one or several topics.
Each topic is a sequence of 3 sessions (~3 hours each) on a cutting-edge area of Geosciences, taught by specialists of the field. Topics cover a broad spectrum of scientific themes across those relevant to the International Master in Geosciences.
