Presentation

Understanding of the Earth Surface dynamics, in the frame of the current challenges associated with global changes and natural hazards, requires new approaches for teaching and research in Earth Sciences, which cross the traditional boundaries between disciplines and allows to integrate new concepts and data

The International Master in Geosciences program in CEREGE (Aix-en-Provence, France) offers an advanced formation (M1 and M2 level) in the fields of paleoclimatology, active tectonics, geomorphology and planetary sciences, which aims at providing students with both a robust background and cutting-edge approaches to investigate scientific problems in these fields.

International students can enter the program during the first year (M1, semesters S1 and S2) or the second year (M2, semesters S3 and S4). The teaching language is English from S2 to S4. The first semester (S1) is mixed between French and English.

Located in Aix-en-Provence, this program is part of the broader STPE Master (Earth, Environment and Planetary Sciences) at Aix-Marseille University , and is fully integrated in CEREGE which is a one of the leading research centers in France in the field of Environmental Geosciences, and provides students with exciting learning and research opportunities.
